Thijs Megens

Thijs Megens is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the event and technology sectors. Since January 2016, Thijs has been serving as the Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of BRIQ Bookings, focusing on enhancing customized experiences for venues and experience operators. Prior to this role, Thijs was the Project Manager of Business Technology at DeFabrique Holding and Van Eck Bedrijven from February 2013 to September 2019, where efforts concentrated on aligning business and technology strategies. Thijs also held various roles at DeFabrique from 2009 to 2013, including Event Manager and Corporate Event Planner, specializing in B2B events. Initial experience was gained as a Hospitality employee at De Linde - New style & Party X-Perts from 2007 to 2012. Thijs holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology, obtained in 2008.
