Ryan Simair has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ryan started their career as a Clinical & Experimental Researcher/Project Manager/Teacher at The University of British Columbia from 2015 to 2017. During this time, they successfully planned and built a Pediatric Brain Health Lab and managed projects with multiple studies and publications. Ryan also wrote grant proposals and secured funding.
From 2017 to 2019, Ryan worked at TELUS as a Project Manager responsible for planning and executing underground civil utility projects. Ryan demonstrated strong skills in balancing time, money, and people while upholding regulatory compliance and tight budgets.
In 2019, Ryan joined Neo Financial as a Partnerships Manager. Ryan showcased their ability to build and grow partnerships in the Fin-Tech, SaaS, and Commerce space. Ryan'sproven track record of strong character and high performance highlights their self-starter mentality and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Currently, Ryan is working at Briq, where they hold the position of Strategic Partnerships Manager since January 2022. Starting from February 2023, they will assume the role of Director of Strategic Partnerships.
Ryan Simair has a Master of Science - MSc degree in Pediatric Neurobiochemistry from The University of British Columbia, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies at The University of British Columbia from 2011 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (BHK) degree in Health and Wellness, Human Biology.
