Penny Shield

Penny Shield has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Penny started their career at PwC in 1999 as a Senior Accountant and worked there until 2002. In 2003, they joined Ernst & Young as a Partner, where they have remained until the present. Throughout their career, Penny has also held positions at organizations such as AusCycling, Cancer Council Queensland, and Brisbane Writers Festival. Currently, they are the Director of Brisbane Powerhouse. Penny also served as a Director at Cycling Australia from 2018 to 2021.

Penny Shield's education history includes various academic achievements and professional certifications. Penny obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from The University of Queensland between 1994 and 1998. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the same institution.
