Christopher Marton is an accomplished chemical engineer with extensive experience in pharmaceuticals and engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Materials Engineering & Crystallization at Bristol Myers Squibb, Christopher leads a multi-disciplinary team focused on API crystallization and physical property control. Previous roles include Scientific Director and Associate Director in Chemical Process Development. Christopher's earlier experience at Celgene involved leading Drug Substance Development Process Engineering and contributing to the commercialization of investigational compounds. Additional experience includes roles at Merck in developing processes for APIs, as well as technical consulting in the nuclear sector. Christopher holds both a PhD and MS in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BASc from the University of Waterloo.
