Manuel Rey

Manuel Rey is an experienced legal professional specializing in commercial intellectual property and information technology law. Currently serving as an Associate at Bristows Law Firm since November 2014, Manuel has transitioned through various roles, including Professional Support Lawyer and Paralegal within the IP Litigation team, where involvement includes cross-border patent litigation and knowledge management. A secondee to Google's International Litigation Team in 2021, Manuel has also contributed to significant research projects, including work at the UK Intellectual Property Office and as a PhD candidate at the University of Santiago de Compostela. Manuel holds multiple degrees in Law, including a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London and a Doctor of Philosophy from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela.
