Dalayna Smart

DaLayna Smart is a dedicated education professional currently serving as the New Partnerships Manager at Britannica Education since February 2022, focusing on developing new business and partnerships within the Midwest educational sectors. Previous experience includes roles as a 6th Grade ELAR/Social Science Teacher at Chicago Public Schools and as a Multi Classroom Leader at Foundations College Prep, where leadership involved overseeing a team of educators while maintaining direct teaching responsibilities. Earlier in the career, DaLayna served as a 6th Grade ELAR Teacher and Department Chair at Uplift Education and participated in Teach For America as a Corps Member. DaLayna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Illinois Chicago, obtained in 2013.
