Paul McCrory

Paul McCrory is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and regulatory affairs, currently serving as Director of Corporate & Regulatory Affairs at British American Tobacco (BAT) since January 2020. Previous roles at BAT include Assistant General Counsel Corporate & Group Company Secretary and Assistant General Counsel & Group Company Secretary, demonstrating a strong leadership capacity overseeing a global team of over 50 legal professionals. McCrory's tenure includes significant positions such as Head of Commercial Legal and Group M&A Counsel, as well as experience in corporate counsel roles at Société Générale and a foundational career at Herbert Smith Freehills. An alumnus of the University of Oxford, McCrory holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE).
