Dr. Christopher Hughes currently holds a position with the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine since September 2023. Previously, Dr. Hughes completed Neurosurgery Core Surgical Training at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust and Charity from July 2023 to February 2024, and served as an Honorary Teaching Fellow at the University of Liverpool, focusing on human anatomy from September 2022 to July 2023. Additional surgical training includes experiences in Vascular & General Surgery, and Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery at Countess of Chester Hospital from February 2022 to March 2023, as well as a role as a Clinical Fellow in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust from July 2020 to July 2021. Dr. Hughes has also contributed to medical education as a Clinical Teaching Fellow at Peninsula Medical School and holds multiple degrees including a Master's in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Bath and MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
