Joachim Ramm is a seasoned economist and regulatory analyst with a diverse background in public sector and private equity roles. Currently serving as a Regulatory Analyst at the British Columbia Utilities Commission since September 2023, Ramm previously worked as a Senior Economist at Caloah Private Equity, where responsibilities included developing macroeconomic investment theses and producing high-quality research. Prior experience includes roles at the B.C. Ministry of Finance, where Ramm contributed to database migration and managed economic analysis for the provincial budget, and various positions in Canadian ministries focusing on economic review, data analysis, and financial forecasting. Ramm holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Bergen and has participated in exchange programs at McGill University and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
