Colin Thomson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Colin started their career as a Sales Assistant at Matalan in 1998 and later worked as a Customer Service Agent at Vodafone and Book Club Associates in 2001. In 2002, they joined Endeva as a Client Service Advisor and gained experience in client support and 1st line IT help desk. In 2004, they worked as a Customer Service Agent at MEDION AG and an IT Helpdesk Administrator at NHS. From 2005 to 2006, they served as a Sales Administrator at International Decorative Surfaces. In 2006, they joined BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and held various roles such as Exams Administrator, Exams Officer, Technical Specialist, IT Support Technician, and currently, as the Lead IT Support Technician.
Colin Thomson completed their GCSE at Ridgeway from 1993 to 1998. In 2009, they pursued User Acceptance Testing at QA. In 2014, they obtained a Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
