Onkar Dhanoya

Onkar Dhanoya has extensive experience in the dental field, serving as Chairman of the North of Tyne Local Dental Committee since December 2013 and holding multiple roles with the British Dental Association, including BDA GPS Assessor and BDA English Council Member since June 2012. Dhanoya is the Principal Dentist and Clinical Lead at Honour Health since January 1986 and has worked as an Associate Clinical Lecturer at Newcastle University Dental School from September 1996 to September 2023. Additional contributions include membership on the Board of FGDP RCS Eng from 2009 to June 2022, Chair of the Northern Regional Council LDC from 2014 to 2017, and Clinical Lead at Osborne Skin from 2009 to 2016. Dhanoya has also served as a Foundation Dental Trainer for NHS Health Education North East from 1991 to 2015. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Newcastle University and Fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, FGDP RCS Eng, and the International College of Dentistry.
