Ricky Clapperton

Ricky Clapperton is an experienced service and repair engineer with a strong background in engineering and manufacturing. Currently employed at British Gas since May 2016 as a smart energy expert and dual fuel specialist, Ricky has previously worked in various roles including manufacturing machinist at Allan Liddle Steel and mechanical technician at Arrows Corporation Ltd. Ricky completed an advanced level apprenticeship in engineering manufacturing at Express Engineering (Oil & Gas) Ltd, where the foundational training in science, engineering, and manufacturing technologies was established. Ricky began the journey in engineering as an apprentice at Rolls-Royce North East Training Centre and has pursued education at Tyne Metropolitan College, achieving a Higher National Certificate in Manufacturing Engineering.
