Foteini Dervisi

Foteini Dervisi currently serves as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Early Stage Researcher at the British Geological Survey, focusing on machine learning-based earthquake monitoring and forecasting as part of the EU Horizon 2020 SPIN MSCA Innovative Training Network. Foteini also tutors at The University of Edinburgh, covering various subjects in visual analytics and data science. Previous roles include a visiting researcher position at Università degli Studi di Padova, a machine learning engineer at Pragma-IoT, and research assistant positions at both the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, working on advanced machine learning and communication projects. Foteini holds a PhD in Machine Learning in Seismology from The University of Edinburgh, a Master's in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics from the University of Macedonia, and a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
