Sev Kender

Honorary Researcher at British Geological Survey

Sev Kender is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in micropalaeontology and palaeoceanography. Since May 2017, Sev Kender has served as an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter. Concurrently, Sev Kender has been an Honorary Research Associate and Micropalaeontologist/Palaeoceanographer at the British Geological Survey since 2008. Previous roles include Senior Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham from 2014 to 2017 and Teaching and Research Fellow at the University of Leicester from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, Sev Kender was the Secretary for The Micropalaeontological Society from 2011 to 2014 and worked as a Biostratigrapher at Chevron in 2007-2008. Sev Kender holds a PhD in Earth Sciences (Micropalaeontology) and an MSc in Micropalaeontology from UCL, as well as a BSc in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Leicester.
