Hayley Gunn-Bruce has a comprehensive work experience in the non-profit sector. Hayley started their career in 2009 as an Event Manager at Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and progressed through various roles such as Community Relationship Manager, Partnership Manager, and Corporate Partnerships Manager. Hayley later became the Senior Manager for Corporate & Campaigns Fundraising and Volunteer Engagement at CRUK. In 2016, they became the Corporate and Supporter Stewardship Manager at CRUK, where they analyzed and improved stewardship processes. From 2015 to 2016, they served as a Corporate Partnerships Manager in a consultative role. In 2017, they became the Senior Partnerships and Projects Manager at CRUK. Hayley then joined Mental Health UK in 2022 as the Head of Partnerships, where they led a team in acquiring new national corporate partnerships and managing existing ones. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Partnership Management at the British Heart Foundation.

Hayley Gunn-Bruce has a diverse education history. Hayley obtained an Award in Applied Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2021. Before that, they studied Event Management at Stonebridge College in 2007. In 1998, they pursued a field of study in Tourism and Travel Services Management at The Travel Training Company. Hayley'searlier education includes attending Sudbury Upper School from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, Hayley has obtained a certification as a Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in 2021.
