Denis Copeland

Denis Copeland has over 25 years of experience in key management roles within the property and retail environment. Denis started their career at WH Smith Retail, where they worked their way up from the sales floor to management roles. During their time there, they served as a Project Co-Ordinator and was responsible for planning store closures and openings, including Birstall Shopping Park in Leeds.

In 2004, Denis joined CBRE as a Centre Manager, where they were responsible for a high-profile out of town shopping location with 20 retailers. Denis achieved recognition for their work, winning the 2006 British Land CSR award for their collaboration with the Police at Birstall.

Denis then moved to Savills in 2006, where they held the positions of Centre Manager and Regional Centre Manager. In their role at Savills, they managed various shopping parks and facilities over a span of 10 years.

In 2016, Denis joined Broadgate Estates as the Regional Centre Manager for the North of England. In this position, they led a team of Centre Managers and Facility Managers across 16 British Land Regional and local shopping parks.

Most recently, Denis joined British Land in 2018 as the Head of Local Operations. In this role, they oversee a team responsible for managing 500 retailers across British Land Regional and Local Shopping Parks.
