Robert Kidney has extensive work experience in the healthcare sector. Robert is currently serving as the Head of Healthcare Delivery at the British Medical Association since 2019. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Policy and Delivery Manager at NHS Clinical Commissioners from 2018 to 2019. From 2013 to 2018, Robert held various positions at the British Medical Association, including Head of Workforce and Innovation (Interim) and Senior Policy Advisor.
Before joining the British Medical Association, Robert worked at the National Association of Community Health Centers from 2005 to 2013. During this time, they served as Assistant Director, Public Policy and Research (State Affairs), where they provided advice on the impacts of federal health legislation on states and community health centers. Additionally, they held the role of Assistant Director, Affiliate Relations and Program Coordinator.
Robert also has experience outside the healthcare field. Robert worked as an Executive/Legislative Assistant at Viohl and Associates/State of Indiana Federal Liaison Office from 2002 to 2005.
