William Gilmour

William Gilmour has a diverse work experience in various healthcare organizations. William currently serves as the Programme Director of Technology and Business Transformation at the British Medical Association. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Change & Digital Transformation Services Expert at Gilmour Organisation Ltd, where they ensured maximum benefit from digital transformation initiatives.

In their previous roles at NHS North West London, William held positions such as Associated Director of NW London Care@Home Programme and NWL STP Diabetes Digital Transformation Lead. William also served as the NHS NWL STP Diabetes Transformation Program Director, leading the NW London Diabetes Transformation Programme through strategy formulation, team building, and financial establishment.

At NHS Birmingham and Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group, William worked as the Programme Director for "Your Care Connected," an NHS patient information sharing initiative. William also had consulting roles at Essex County Council, NHS Central Eastern Commissioning Support Unit, Essex Shared Services Agency, K3 FDS, Barking, Redbrige and Havering NHS Trust, and Salford Royal Foundation Trust.

Throughout their career, William has demonstrated strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on digital transformation, strategic procurement, and information governance.

William Gilmour holds a Master's degree in Modern and Medieval History with Moral Philosophy, Psychology, and Statistics from Glasgow University. William also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma (equivalent to an MSc) in Systems Analysis & Design, Computer Science, Business & Finance from The University of the West of Scotland. Additionally, they have a certification in Prince 2 (Foundation and Practitioner) which was obtained in May 2008 from APMG-International.
