Matthew Howell

Matthew Howell has extensive experience in leadership roles across various professional organizations and charities. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Risk & Assurance Committee at The British Psychological Society since February 2023, Matthew oversees compliance with charitable objectives and the society's long-term sustainability. Additionally, Matthew holds a position as a Member of the Board of Trustees at C.I. Colman Redland Centre Limited. In 2024, Matthew will take on the role of Interim Chief Executive Officer at CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, having previously served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the British Medical Association and Managing Director for the UK & Ireland at RICS. With past experience at RSM UK and Deloitte, Matthew has demonstrated expertise in strategic marketing and organizational leadership. Matthew holds a BA Combined Honours in English & History from the University of Birmingham and has pursued further education at the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing and the Institute of Directors.
