Jamie Richardson

Jamie Richardson is an experienced professional in the humanitarian response and construction sectors, currently serving as a Shelter and Settlements Technical Advisor at Catholic Relief Services since 2014, providing technical assistance and contributing to research initiatives. Jamie has been a Team Leader for Emergency Response Unit logistics and sanitation at British Red Cross since 1999, actively participating in disaster deployments. Additionally, Jamie has extensive consulting experience with Shelter and Construction, focusing on assessment, program design, and monitoring for various infrastructure projects. As the Managing Director of Ty Afal Ltd since 1997, Jamie leads a company specializing in environmental building and timber frame design. Jamie also held the position of CEO at Shelter & Construction from 2012 to 2014. Jamie holds a degree in Architectural Technician from NEWI, obtained between 2000 and 2003.
