Deborah Connolly

Deborah Connolly is an experienced professional in the realms of train operations and rowing coaching. Currently serving as a Traincrew Instructor and Assessor at Tyne & Wear Metro since September 2019, Deborah coaches and evaluates both experienced and trainee drivers, while also fulfilling the role of Train Driver. With a longstanding involvement in British Rowing since 2003, Deborah holds positions as a UKCC Tutor & Assessor and Regional Development Coach, focusing on enhancing coaching standards and increasing participation in rowing. Deborah has also contributed to various coaching and educational roles at Northumbria University, Yarm School, and Durham Amateur Rowing Club, among others. Deborah's educational background includes an MSc in Sport and Exercise Science from Teesside University and a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science from the University of Sunderland.
