Lavan Rubasingham

Lavan joined British Sugar in April 2017. Prior to joining the world of sugar, Lavan had a 20 year career in the energy industry with various roles across the retail supply and trading value chain. This included multiple roles with E.ON UK Plc (formerly known as Powergen), including Director Pricing & Portfolio Management and Head of UK Strategy, and more recently as Commercial Director for British Gas’s Residential Business, a part of Centrica Plc.

Here at British Sugar he has responsibility to develop and deliver the commercial strategy in a rapidly evolving market to help drive growth into the business.
