John Szczygiel

John Szczygiel is an experienced executive in the security management and technology sectors, currently serving as Executive Vice President and COO of Brivo since June 2009, where the focus is on leveraging cloud computing for security management solutions. Prior roles include Vice Chairman of The Open Security Exchange, President of MATE-Intelligent Video leading technology and sales operations, and CEO of Evaluweb, Inc., as well as Closeoutstock.com, both focused on electronic security products. Szczygiel has held senior positions at Siemens Building Technologies, where internal promotions led to the role of President, and previously served as Divisional Vice President at Security Technologies Group and Regional General Manager at Sensormatic. Education credentials include a BA in Policy Studies from Syracuse University and additional studies at George Mason University and UFA.
