James McGillicuddy

James McGillicuddy has a diverse work experience. James is currently the CEO and Co-founder of BRM since May 2022. Prior to that, they held roles at Carta as the CartaX from July 2020 to January 2022 and in Strategy from October 2018 to July 2020. James also worked as a Trustee at Coaching Corps from January 2011 to December 2020. In addition, they served as the COO at Sourcegraph from March 2015 to February 2018, and as the First GTM hire at RelateIQ from November 2012 to March 2015. James started their career at Summit Partners as an Associate from April 2011 to October 2012.

James McGillicuddy obtained a high school diploma in general studies from Saint John's High School in 2005. James then pursued a bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, and Society, focusing on Liberal Arts and Sciences, at Stanford University from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they furthered their education at Stanford University, completing a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies from 2009 to 2010.
