Tadd Wales

Tadd is a Senior Geologist with more than 16 years of experience in the environmental consulting business, working primarily for the petroleum industry, local, state, and federal agencies, and a full cross section of private businesses. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (Wilmington, NC), is a Colorado listed Environmental Consultant (CEC), and is a certified Asbestos Building Inspector (ABI). Tadd joined Broadbent in 2019 in our Parker (Denver), CO division, and he now leads our Fort Collins, CO division. His professional experience includes conducting a wide variety of geological, hydrological, and environmental investigations throughout the mid-American region. Specific experience includes characterization and remediation of petroleum hydrocarbon impacted sites, transaction due diligence (Phase I & II) investigations, asbestos inspections, UST assessment and removal activities, landfill investigations, aquifer testing, groundwater modeling, and design, permitting, construction implementation, and operation and maintenance of a large variety of soil and groundwater remediation systems. He successfully manages project personnel, clientele, and regulatory agency interests on a routine basis in both an efficient and cost-effective manner.

When away from work, Tadd likes to spend his free time exercising, backpacking, traveling, and playing with his two children. Tadd is an active member of his community and enjoys supporting local programs and organizations to help better his community.
