Michael Helke

Michael Helke possesses extensive experience in broadcast engineering and multimedia maintenance spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Multimedia Broadcast Maintenance Engineer at the Broadcasting Board of Governors since October 2018, Michael previously held the position of Broadcast System Engineer at the Defense Media Activity from June 2012 to October 2018, where responsibilities included managing internal broadcast systems and serving as a system administrator for Avid, Telestream, and Adobe. Additional experience includes roles in broadcast engineering and audio-video integration across various organizations, including Taft Broadcasting and Innovative Technologies, Inc., as well as serving in communications management on the USS George Washington. Michael began a career in broadcast engineering with positions in the Naval Media Center and USS Oakhill. Education includes attendance at Southport High School.
