Luca Pesenti

Luca Pesenti is a Principal Engineer at Broadcom Inc. since January 2014, specializing in digital Set Top Box technologies such as H265 and AV1, with expertise in Linux and cryptography. Prior to this role, Luca served as a Software Engineer at STMicroelectronics from September 2006 to December 2013, focusing on digital Set Top Box solutions for key customers including Nagra and Samsung, and developing technologies such as H264 and MPEG2. Previous positions include Embedded Software Engineer and Product Engineer, where responsibilities included embedded software development, testing, and technical support for clients in the automotive and satellite radio industries. Luca holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Politecnico di Milano, and a GCE Advanced Level in Scientific Lyceum.
