Shawn O'Brien

Shawn O'Brien, CFA, is a seasoned financial professional currently serving as the Head of Retirement Insights, Data & Analytics at Broadridge since January 2025. Prior to this role, Shawn held various positions at Cerulli Associates from October 2019 to December 2024, including Director of Retirement, Associate Director of Retirement, and Senior Analyst, where significant contributions were made to U.S. retirement insights. Shawn's earlier experience includes a role as Research Associate at Harvard Business School from 2017 to 2019, focusing on investment management education, as well as positions at State Street Global Markets and State Street Global Advisors, which involved currency management and portfolio administration. Shawn holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics from Boston College and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Merrimack College.
