Danilo Pena

Danilo Pena is a Senior Data Scientist at Broadview Group Holdings, LLC, and has extensive experience in data science and research across various organizations. With a Master's degree in Biomedical Informatics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Danilo has developed machine and deep learning algorithms for neurodegeneration quantification, co-led the creation of an active learning application for stroke segmentation, and created data preprocessing pipelines. Danilo has also co-founded an early-stage startup, LilySpec, which achieved recognition at prestigious competitions, served as a Graduate Research Assistant, and held several roles focusing on data analysis and project leadership in healthcare and engineering contexts. Notable achievements include extensive mentoring, publication contributions, and participation in research initiatives aimed at addressing social issues and improving healthcare data integrations.
