Hiyam Mukhtar

Hiyam Mukhtar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public relations, communications, and language translation. Currently serving as a Public Relations and Communications Officer at Global Expertease since July 2023, Hiyam also works as a Human Rights Researcher with Broken Chalk since February 2023, focusing on organizing and implementing EU programs. Hiyam's academic background includes a Master’s degree in International Law from Beijing Language and Culture University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Translation from Ain Shams University. Additional roles include Chinese language lecturer at King Saud University, Chinese language translator at IPlast Saudi, political interpreter for the National Security Advisor's Meeting in Jeddah, and Human Rights Officer at the Arusha Women Legal Aid & Human Rights Organisation. Previous experience includes communications roles with the Belt and Road Initiative and a technology company, showcasing a solid track record in effective communication and translation across multiple languages.
