Ben Taylor

Ben Taylor has extensive work experience in finance and consultancy roles. Ben started their career at the Audit Commission, where they worked as a Principal Auditor and later as a Local Government Technical Manager. During this time, they gained expertise in accounting and auditing, providing advice to auditors and developing protocols and guidance.

Ben then joined the Chartered Institute of Housing, where they worked as a Finance Consultant and later as an Assistant Director - Financial Consultancy. In these roles, they managed various consultancy projects focused on business planning and financial advice. Ben also played a key role in the design and implementation of the institute's welfare reform impact tool and conducted reviews of housing delivery options, rent policy, and support services.

In 2014, Ben joined Merlin Housing as Head of Finance and later became the Director of Finance. In these positions, they oversaw financial management and contributed to the strategic direction of the organization.

Most recently, Ben joined Bromford as the Director of Finance.

Ben Taylor attended Wood Green High School from 1985 to 1992. Ben then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at The University of Manchester from 1992 to 1995.
