Aiden Konold

Aiden Konold serves as the Chief Sports Editor at The Spire since August 2024, overseeing a team of over 15 sports writers and coordinating events between professional athletes and the media. Currently, Aiden also fulfills the role of Student Manager for the Holy Cross Men's Basketball Team and contributes to video production for home athletic games broadcasted on ESPN+. Additionally, Aiden works as a Freelance Writer for Vermont News & Media and as a Sports Play by Play and Color Commentator for WCHC 88.1-FM. Previous positions include Assistant Sports Editor at The Spire, Messenger at Boston Globe Media, and Blogger for Philadelphia Sports Nation. Aiden is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English at the College of the Holy Cross, expected to graduate in May 2026, following education at Burr and Burton Academy and Tome School. Skills include sports journalism, event coordination, and media production, with a focus on enhancing sports coverage and audience engagement.
