Joseph Jd Franzia (Joey)

Joey Franzia has a diverse work experience in the wine industry. Joseph JD "Joey" started their career in 1995 as a Sales Representative at Bronco Wine Company, where they worked on and off-premise accounts. Joseph JD "Joey" then moved on to become a Northwest Regional Sales Manager and later a Northeast Regional Sales Manager at the same company. In 2010, they were promoted to the role of Director of National Sales and Marketing USA. In 2022, they transitioned to the position of Director of Finance and Administration at Bronco Wine Company before becoming the Director of Enterprise Strategic Development in 2023.

In addition to their time at Bronco Wine Company, Joey was also a partner at Panther Rock Wine Company, another family-owned winery, since 2009. Joseph JD "Joey" has also served as a Wine Judge at the Orange County Wine Society since 2017, an organization dedicated to promoting wine knowledge and appreciation while raising funds for college scholarships.

Joseph JD "Joey" Franzia obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Santa Clara University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. In 2021, they attended the UCLA Anderson School of Management for the Corporate Governance Program. The following year, in 2022 to 2023, Joey pursued the Stanford Executive Program (SEP) at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Additionally, they hold a certification in WSET II from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, which they obtained in January 2014.
