Deidra Parr

Deidra Parr, MA, serves as the Chief School Business Official, CFO, and Treasurer for Brooke County Schools since July 2019, where financial management expertise led to the successful removal of the District from the WV State Department of Education's financial watchlist. Alongside renegotiating major contracts and strategically planning workforce adjustments with school leadership, Deidra implemented effective budgeting techniques, resulting in surplus funds at fiscal year-end. Additionally, Deidra operates as a Finance Consultant for various institutions, specializing in nonprofit and educational finance, while previous roles include Associate Vice President for Finance at Wheeling Jesuit University and various financial leadership positions at Bethany College. Deidra holds an MA in Teaching in Higher Education and a BA in Accounting/Finance/Economics, both from Bethany College.
