Andrew Campbell

Dr. Andrew Campbell is Chief Executive of the Brooke Weston Trust. After holding a variety of senior leadership roles in high-performing schools he was the Principal of Corby Business Academy (CBA) from 2008 to 2011.

Andrew has senior leadership experience as Vice Principal in a high-performing academy and as Principal in CBA – a highly complex transformational academy that includes a large special school. Within three years of opening, the school was one of the most improved in the country, oversubscribed, and with a good local reputation. OfSTED (2012) judged the school to be good.

Andrew is experienced in supporting schools requiring additional leadership capacity and has a strong track record of developing effective, sustainable interventions to drive up standards. He has successfully established cultures of high professional accountability in schools through effective quality assurance and performance management processes and by working in partnership with trade union representatives.

Andrew has successfully delivered the education brief and the consultation requirements for academy and free school projects.
