Erin Raftery

Erin Raftery is a Communications Manager at The Brookings Institution since September 2019, focusing on enhancing the visibility of Brookings Metro’s research and events. Previously, Erin held the position of Communications Coordinator at the same institution, promoting research vital for American urban development. Erin's experience includes working as a Graduate Assistant at Texas A&M University's Bush School of Government and Public Service and various editorial roles at Inside Washington Publishers. Early career internships at USA TODAY, CBS News, Voice of America, and Somerset Patriots provided a foundation in journalism and media relations. Erin holds a Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, and History from Saint Joseph's University.
