Lisa Brown

Lisa Brown currently serves as the Deputy General Counsel at The Brookings Institution since January 2020, previously holding the position of Associate General Counsel. Prior to this role, Lisa was with the National Abortion Federation from September 2004 to January 2020, where responsibilities included General Counsel and Senior Policy Director, as well as Senior Counsel. Lisa holds a Juris Doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law (2004) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Emory University (2001). Early education was completed at Dana Hall (1997).
