Hester Griffin

Hester Griffin is an experienced agricultural professional currently serving as the Discovery Garden Coordinator at Brooklyn Botanic Garden since February 2017. Hester has a diverse background in farming and education, with prior roles including Farm Worker at Queens County Farm Museum and Fresh Food Box Site Coordinator at GrowNYC. Hester's experiences also include a position as a Farm Education Apprentice at Battery Urban Farm and a Farm Worker at Four Season Farm, where responsibilities ranged from seed starting to animal care. Hester began a farming apprenticeship at Brooklyn Grange, which involved preparing rooftop farms, managing farm stands, and delivering produce. Hester holds a degree in Environmental Studies from The New School, completed in 2012.
