Timothy Salazar currently serves as the Secondary Assessment Lead at Brooklyn Center Community Schools and is a Doctoral Student at Cornell University Graduate School, focusing on Theoretical Ecology, Entomology, and Electrical and Computer Engineering. As an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and Cornell Fellow, Timothy studies bumblebee economics and the impact of diseases on their supply chains, employing computer vision and dynamic modeling techniques. Previous roles include Teaching Assistant at the University of Chicago, Fulbright Fellow researching invasive bumblebee ranges in Chile, and various research assistantship positions at institutions such as the University of Colorado Boulder and The Field Museum. Timothy obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Studies and Public Policy Studies from the University of Chicago.
