Gretchen Susi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community development, equity, and organizational consultancy. Currently serving as the Deputy Director at Brooklyn Communities Collaborative since April 2021, Susi previously held significant roles including Project Lead for the Wellness Empowerment for Brooklyn at MIT Community Innovators Lab and Senior Consultant for both Huariou Commission and Associated Black Charities, where efforts focused on racial equity in Baltimore. With a track record at The Aspen Institute Roundtable on Community Change as Director, Susi advanced strategies promoting the welfare of children and families. Additional roles include consulting for The Hispanic Federation and serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University. Susi holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Psychology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a BA in English and French Literature from Fordham University.
