Laura Li Foa Wing

Laura Li Foa Wing is an analytics engineer at Brooklyn Data Co. Laura has over three years of experience working with data, developing ETL processes, conducting data analyses, and performing SQL Server DBA responsibilities.

Previously, Laura worked as a Sr Business Intelligence Engineer at 3Q Digital from March 2019 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for developing ETL processes, analyzing data to solve business problems, and maintaining the DataMart. Laura also worked as a Data Analyst/Developer at In Her Shoes Foundation from December 2018 to October 2019, where they were responsible for conducting data analyses and developing custom log files.

Laura began their career as a Business Information Analyst/Developer at AIM Specialty Health in February 2018. In this role, they were responsible for integrating data from clients, third-party providers, and other AIM departments into the DataMart. Laura also employed ETL tools including SSIS, IBM DataStage, PowerShell and C# to pipeline data into the team’s SQL Server DB for analysis.

Laura holds a degree in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.

After completing their Bachelors in Philosophy and Economics from Binghamton University, Laura decided to get certified as a dbt Developer from dbt Labs.

Laura Li Foa Wing reports to Herbie Weisburgh, General Counsel. They work with Kate Markina - Senior Data Analyst, April Potter - Head of Partnerships, and Angélica De León - Analytics Engineer.
