Ryan Dobbins

Ryan Dobbins currently serves as the Director of Technology at Brooks School, a position held since July 2012, where responsibilities include developing and implementing technology initiatives, managing technology staff, and overseeing the application of tools for faculty and students. Additionally, Ryan holds roles as Head Coach for both Boys and Girls Cross Country, Head Dorm Parent of Thorne Dorm, and teaches courses in Entrepreneurship and Winter Term subjects. Prior to Brooks School, Ryan was the Owner and Principal of Around The Point, Inc., providing IT services to businesses and residences on Nantucket, which became the largest IT provider on the island. Previous experience also includes leadership positions in sales and marketing at several technology companies, including Axonet, Inc. and Beam Technology. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in English and Theater from Denison University.
