Ignasi Capella Ballbé began their career in 2009 as a Becario for the Ayuntamiento Sant Boi de Llobregat. In 2010, they became a Consultor auxiliar for DCB Turismo y Desarrollo Local. The following year, they were a Sociólogo for the Ayuntamiento de Sant Boi de Llobregat. In 2012, they returned to DCB Turismo y Desarrollo Local as a Consultor. In 2013, they became an International Trade Analyst of India for ACC10. In 2014, they were a Coordinador de proyectos for DCB Turismo y Desarrollo Local. In 2015, they were CMO - Chief Marketing Officer & Business Development for BROOMX and a Smart Living Project Manager and Colaborador proyecto Mobile Ready sobre nuevas tecnologías aplicadas en hoteles, área Smart Living for Mobile World Capital Barcelona. Finally, in the same year they became a Colaborador Área de Turismo, proyectos europeos, premios y subvenciones for ITGLAS.

Ignasi Capella Ballbé has a diverse educational background. In 2005, they earned a Licenciado degree in Sociology from Universitat de Barcelona. In 2012, they obtained a Master in Community Manager from INITEC in the field of Communication and Media Studies. In 2013, they completed a Curso de Comercio Internacional from ESCI Escuela de Comercio Internacional - UPF in the field of International Trade. Ignasi also completed a Training for European Sustainable Tourism European Partnership from PM4ESD in Sustainable Tourism, as well as Seminaris de Redacció, Gestió financera i Avaluació de Projectes Europeus from Col·legi de Politòlegs i Sociòlegs de Catalunya COLPIS in European Projects.
