Bill Whelan

William Whelan is a Partner in Private Banking. This line of business invests in and lends to private companies and invests for and advises their owners. Bill joined BBH in 1988 and became a General Partner in 2000. He is a member of the Private Banking Oversight Committee. Bill is Treasurer of the Commercial Club of Boston and a board member of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, the Pingree School, and the Massachusetts Golf Association. He is also active with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Boston and Rhode Island, the United Way, the Campaign for Catholic Schools, and the Quimet Foundation. Bill is a graduate of Williams College.
