Julie Turpin

Julie Turpin is the EVP & Chief People Officer at Brown & Brown Insurance. Julie has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Turpin began their career as a director of administration for Forrest Company Realty, Inc. Julie then spent five years as the senior vice president and head of operations for Marsh, USA, Inc. In 2009, they became a principal at GCG Risk Management Consultants LLC.

In 2012, Turpin became the CEO of The Advocator Group, a company that helps people with disabilities navigate the Social Security system. Under their leadership, The Advocate Group has helped over 15,000 people receive fast and favorable awards.

Turpin is a passionate advocate for people with disabilities and is committed to helping them improve their financial well-being and quality of life.

Julie Turpin reports to J Powell Brown, President & CEO. They are on a team with Steve M. Boyd - EVP & President, Wholesale Brokerage Segment, J. Scott Penny - EVP & Chief Acquisitions Officer, and R. Andrew Watts - EVP, CFO & Treasurer.
