Rajitha Deshapriya Wijesuriya

Rajitha Deshapriya Wijesuriya has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2011, they worked as an Engineering Intern at the Die & Mould Facilitation and Development Centre at the University of Moratuwa. From 2013 to 2014, Rajitha gained experience as an Inplant Trainee at LTL Holdings, where they focused on maintenance activities for gas turbines, heat recovery steam generators, and steam turbines. In 2014, they joined GSK as a Trainee Engineer, where they participated in gap analysis, implemented a computer maintenance system, and conducted downtime analysis. The following year, Rajitha worked as a Production Assistant in the Furniture & Sofa Manufacturing Division at Singer Sri Lanka PLC. Their responsibilities included ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and managing documentation. From 2016 to 2023, Rajitha held various roles at ABANS ELECTRICALS PLC, including Quality Assurance & Process Development Engineer, Service Engineer, and Production Engineer. In these positions, they oversaw the quality of production, managed after-sales service operations, and implemented production schedules and plans. Rajitha's most recent role is as a Manager- Service Operations at Brown & Company PLC, which began in 2023.

Rajitha Deshapriya Wijesuriya began their education at Sri Sumangala College in Panadura in 1995. Rajitha Deshapriya completed their O/L and A/L in the Maths stream, graduating in 2008. In 2010, they enrolled at the Institute of Engineering Technology (IET) in Katunayake, Sri Lanka, where they pursued a National Diploma in Engineering Sciences (NDES) in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Rajitha Deshapriya successfully completed this program in 2014.

After obtaining their NDES, Rajitha Deshapriya Wijesuriya decided to further their education and pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wolverhampton. Rajitha Deshapriya started this program in 2015 and completed it in 2016.

Seeking even higher qualifications, Rajitha Deshapriya Wijesuriya enrolled in Canterbury Christ Church University in 2019 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in General disciplines. Rajitha Deshapriya completed this program in 2020, enhancing their knowledge in the field of business and administration.
