Shannon Farrell

Shannon Farrell has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Shannon began their career as a Promotions Intern and later worked as a Promotions Assistant at Cox Media Group. Shannon then transitioned to the role of Web Producer for one of Cox Media Group's radio websites. From there, Shannon joined Cox Media Group's digital team, where they served as an Internet Sales Coordinator and a Digital Marketing Specialist. In these roles, they were responsible for project management, ad trafficking, campaign optimization, and client communication.

In 2013, Shannon joined TravelClick as a Web Project Manager, overseeing website builds for the hospitality industry. Shannon worked closely with cross-functional teams and managed project schedules to ensure successful project completion.

Following their time at TravelClick, Shannon joined Westgate Resorts as a Media Buyer/Planner. Shannon collaborated with the VP of Marketing to determine campaign budgets and strategically planned and bought media across various platforms. Shannon also managed campaign deliverables, including insertion orders, creative, reporting, and invoicing.

In 2016, Shannon joined Fat Free Media, Inc. and assumed the role of Media Supervisor. In this position, they were responsible for planning media budgets, negotiating with media outlets, and acting as a media consultant for clients. Shannon also supervised and developed Junior Media Buyers while leading assistant training and skills growth.

Most recently, Shannon worked at WorkReduce as the Director of Media. Shannon provided strategic direction and oversight for media campaigns and ensured effective execution of media plans.

Currently, Shannon is the Media Director at Brown Parker & DeMarinis Advertising, where they continue to lead media strategies and drive successful marketing campaigns.

Shannon Farrell attended the University of Central Florida from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpersonal Communication.

In addition to their formal education, Shannon obtained several certifications in various aspects of digital marketing from Meta in February 2023. These certifications include Ads manager basics, Buying on Facebook, Define your audience, Digital marketing landscape, From business goals to ad objectives, Get started with data-driven marketing, Meta ad delivery, Meta bid strategies, and Using insights to inform ad strategy.
