Emily Hester

Emily Hester has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Project Assistant at Brown Rudnick LLP since June 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Intern at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) from December 2022 to June 2023. Emily was also a Stamps Scholar at the Stamps Scholars Programs (Strive Foundation) from April 2021 to June 2023, where they conducted research on Cold War public diplomacy. Emily worked as a Russian Studies Intern at the American Enterprise Institute from June 2022 to August 2022. Emily had various roles at Dartmouth College, including serving as a Presidential Research Scholar from May 2021 to March 2022 and as a Research Assistant from June 2020 to May 2021. Emily also worked as a Social Media/ Communications Intern at Young Mothers, Inc. from August 2020 to August 2021. Furthermore, Emily gained sales experience as a Sales Assistant/ Cashier at Baked by Yael in December 2019 and as a Sales Assistant at Coldstone Creamery from May 2019 to August 2019.

Emily Hester obtained their Bachelor's degree in Russian Area Studies and Government from Dartmouth College, where they studied from 2019 to 2023. Before attending Dartmouth, they earned their High School Diploma from National Cathedral School in 2019. In 2017, Emily also spent some time as a trainee/student at the Moscow State Academy of Choreography (Bolshoi Ballet Academy), focusing on dance.
