Fabio Villatoro

Fabio Villatoro is a Computer Science and Economics double concentrator at Brown University, with extensive experience in software development and project management. Currently serving as Tech Lead for Hack@Brown, Fabio is responsible for leading the tech team in preparation for the 2025 Hackathon and developing the new Hack@Brown website. As a Research Assistant at Brown University School of Engineering, Fabio focuses on machine learning algorithms to analyze sea ice data for climate research. Additional roles include serving as a Software Developer for the Brown University Entrepreneurship Program and project management for the Brown Machine Intelligence Community website. Previous experience includes a Software Development Intern position at Banco Cuscatlán El Salvador, where collaboration on automation projects and proposal development took place, and successful freelance software development work on the award-winning 'Math on The Go' app. Fabio possesses a strong foundation in both technical and educational fields, having also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in Hispanic Studies and as a private tutor.
