Michelle Ehlert Debelak

Michelle Ehlert Debelak is an experienced leader in advancement and fundraising, currently serving as Executive Director for both Principal Gifts and Gift and Estate Planning at The University of Texas at Austin since December 2020. Prior roles include Interim Chief Development Officer for the College of Pharmacy and various positions at Cleveland State University, where duties encompassed Assistant Dean for Advancement and Senior Director for Gift Planning. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Advancement at The Birchwood School of Hawken and Development Officer at University Hospitals of Cleveland. Michelle Ehlert Debelak began a career in the performing arts as Major Gifts Officer and Special Events Manager at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Educational credentials feature a Juris Doctor degree in International and Nonprofit Law from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, alongside a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History from The Ohio State University. Further studies took place at University College Dublin and University of Oxford.
